Next stop: guardian angel

The weekly roundup comes out a bit rough: personally, a bout of lumbago, and in world politics, the “blue wave” in the USA. In the midterms, millions of Americans had had enough of self-important despots. Or simply of gasoline prices over five dollars per liter.
For several days now, the Berlin police have been desperately searching for a 13-year-old girl. One of thousands who disappear each year. The population wakes up, has had enough of primitive criminals and pedophiles. At the same time this helplessness: how sick is humanity, actually?
Yesterday in Kraków: the next madman shoots wildly in the market square. Dead and injured.
What gets the public soul boiling: in the end it will probably once again be called “not criminally responsible.” Yes. Could be. But somewhere on the way to the act, something must have gone badly wrong.
How do you deal with people who isolate themselves and radicalize? No one responsible until the act?
These questions preoccupy many people and are the breeding ground for frustration and the call for change.
Next stop then: “violence” or rather “guardian angel”?
